<title>Last call to inspire future engineers</title>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Companies and organisations are being called upon to inspire the next generation of engineers by taking part in the North East Engineering Show which is making a welcome return this summer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The event will see thousands of future engineers descend on what is the engineering equivalent of the Greatest Show on Earth.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;boom! which is aimed at students age 11-17 and remains free for North East schools, is sponsored by One North East and combines an exciting fast-moving theatre style performance and interactive exhibition. The show takes place at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle from Tuesday 13 July until Friday 16 July.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Companies and organisations that would like to participate have until June 4 to register their interest in exhibiting at the event, so they don&amp;rsquo;t miss getting into the event guide which is currently being put together.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Those coming on board will be in great company as the event already has confirmed attendance from Honda&amp;rsquo;s ASIMO, the world&amp;rsquo;s most advanced humanoid robot with other highlights including RuBOT the amazing Rubik&amp;rsquo;s Cube solving robot, Starchaser&amp;rsquo;s Skybolt Sounding Rocket which stands at nearly 12 metres, RAF flight technology and a coffee powered car.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;North East based universities and companies including Subsea North East, North East Process Industry Cluster, BAE Systems, Nissan, Siemens and The Tanfield Group will be showcasing their new technology and engineering innovation.&amp;nbsp; The event will be presented by Robert Llewellyn of Scrap Heap Challenge and Red Dwarf fame.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>School Show Times Announced</title>

<description>The boom! schools programme has been announced.  The show is running over three days in July - Wednesday 14, Thursday 15 and Friday 16.  There are three school slots per day and each allows time to see the show, browse the exhibition, have lunch and complete the evaluation survey. Book your school now - it's free and designed to inspire 11-17 year olds and show them the variety of career options available in engineering.</description>

<title>Robot Returns to Inspire Future Engineers</title>

<description>INSPIRING young people is once again the aim of the North East Engineering Show as it makes a welcome return to the region this summer.
Schools are being urged to register their interest for the show, rebranded as boom! which will see thousands of future engineers descend on what is the engineering equivalent of the Greatest Show on Earth.
